Children’s Classes
We have a huge variety of classes to offer at Clonmany Community Centre so you can be sure that your child will find a hobby that suits them down to the ground. As well as the classes offered by our wonderful facilitators seen below, our Youth Club also offers Badminton, Basketball, Indoor Football, Movie Nights and many other activities throughout the year. ** Note that all of our kid’s classes take a break over the Summer Holidays, & in their place runs our annual Summer Camps, & some of the kid’s classes may take a break over the other school holidays & bank holidays (Halloween, Christmas, Mid-Terms, Easter), so keep any eye on our Facebook pages for any updates! **
Arts & Crafts
Arts & Crafts classes are fantastic for children’s development – they help your child grow and develop their creativity, fine motor skills, problem solving ability, communication skills, and much more!
We run regular Art classes here at Clonmany Community Centre that will allow your child to experiment with creative processes, discover and explore new art mediums, every Friday afternoon from 4pm to 5pm.
Boxing
St. Bridget’s Boxing Club has been part of the Community Centre since 1998. Their training times are Mondays, Wednesday & Friday from 7.30pm to 9pm (for 7+ years).
They have achieved many Irish, Ulster and North West Zone titles over the years & have boxers who have represented Ulster and Ireland on numerous occasions, as well as coaches representing Ulster teams & active judges within the Club who judge within Ulster and in The National Stadium.
Hip-Hop Dance
Studio 47 is a fantastic dance academy based in Buncrana & specialise in Hip Hop, Locking & House dancing styles, for kids & adults!
Elizabeth, one of their wonderful dance coaches, runs Hip-Hop Dance classes for kid’s here in Clonmany Community Centre every Monday afternoon from 3pm to 6pm, and the kid’s absolutely love them!

Badminton
Is your child ready to have fun, stay active, and learn a new sport? Our Weekly Kids’ Badminton Classes are the perfect way for your little one to stay fit, make new friends, and develop their skills in a fun & supportive environment!
Badminton is an excellent sport for kids, as it helps improve hand-eye coordination, reflexes, and concentration – all while having a blast. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to burn energy & get moving!
Kid’s Badminton takes place here every Monday from 4pm to 5pm
Indoor Football
Looking for a fun, exciting, and active way for your child to stay fit and make new friends? Our Weekly Kids’ Indoor Football is the perfect place for them to develop their skills, improve teamwork, and enjoy the beautiful game!
Indoor football is a great way for kids to stay active! It helps improve balance, agility, and decision-making skills, all while having fun in a team setting.
Kid’s Indoor Football takes place here every Tuesday afternoon from 4pm to 5pm.
Gymnastics
Is your child full of energy and ready to flip, tumble, and have a blast? Shooting Starz Gymnastics run weekly Kids’ Gymnastics Classes, and they are the perfect way to help your little one build strength, flexibility, and confidence – all while having fun in a safe and supportive environment!
Gymnastics is a fantastic way for kids to stay active, improve their motor skills, and express their creativity through movement. It also helps to build discipline, teamwork, and self-confidence.
Gymnastics takes place every Wednesday from 4pm to 5pm for kids aged 5 & 6, 5pm to 6pm for kids aged 7-10 & an advanced class for ages 11+ from 6pm to 7pm.
Movie Night
Every Friday we hold Kid’s Movie Nights in our cinema room in Clonmany Community Centre for children of all ages. All movies shown are strictly PG movies and run from 5:30 to 7pm.
This is a great opportunity for your kids to enjoy a social get together in a safe environment for only €3!
Martial Arts
I’m Danny from Dragon All Style Martial Arts Federation Ireland.Our style of martial arts focuses on teaching students of all ages simple and easy to apply techniques that work best for self defence. We incorporate joint locking, striking, kicking and throwing techniques that are designed to be used against stronger opponents. We also include the use of pressure points in our system which can be used to enhance any technique. This is taught to our advanced and adult students only.

Basketball
Our Weekly Kids’ Basketball Classes are designed to help kids of all skill levels develop their basketball skills, stay active, and have tons of fun – all while learning teamwork!
Basketball is a great way for kids to stay fit, build coordination, and develop their communication skills! Plus, it’s a fantastic way to make new friends and build confidence on and off the court.
Basketball takes place here every Thursday afternoon from 4pm to 5pm.
Dodgeball
Our Weekly Kids’ Dodgeball Classes are the perfect combination of friendly competition, teamwork, and lots of laughs!
Dodgeball is the perfect way for kids to burn energy while having a blast! It’s all about speed, agility, and working together as a team to win!
Kid’s Dodgeball takes place every Wednesday afternoon from 4pm to 5pm.
