** All of our kids classes are currently on their Summer Break, to return in early September. In their place all summer is our Kid’s & Teens Summer Camps! **
Art Classes
Art classes are fantastic for children’s development – they help your child grow and develop their creativity, fine motor skills, problem solving ability, communication skills, and much more. We run regular Art classes here at Clonmany Community Centre that will allow your child to experiment with creative processes, discover and explore new art mediums.
Boxing
St. Bridget’s Boxing Club has been part of the Community Centre since 1998. We are looking forward to getting back to training after Covid 19. Our training times are Monday Wednesday Friday 7.30-9pm. (7 years and up). We are also hoping to set up an underage class shortly.
We have achieved many Irish, Ulster and North West Zone titles over the years. We have boxers who have represented Ulster and Ireland on numerous occasions as well as coaches representing Ulster teams. We presently have two active judges within the Club who judge within Ulster and in The National Stadium.
There are a lot of very enthusiastic and hardworking coaches in the club who are looking forward to a successful season when we return. We could not run the club without the help of these coaches, committee members and the Clonmany Community Centre.
Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a fantastic sport for kids and helps develop physical skills such as body control, coordination and strength. Children experience self-confidence through creativity and performance whilst laying a strong foundation for all other sports. Clonmany Community Centre offers Gymnastics with Linda Bradley on Wednesday evenings.
Dance Classes
My name is Elizabeth Curran founder and choreographer at Studio 47. I’m based in Buncrana but teach throughout Inishowen in schools, playschools and community clubs. Established in 2008, I have taught 1000s of kids and adults throughout the peninsula and further afield. I studied ballet for 16 years and later specialized in street dance whilst working in Madrid and later became a qualified UDO instructor. Over the years I have choreographed pantos, musicals, street theatre, carnivals, national fashion shows and trained my crews to compete at both national, international and world level. I am known locally for running danceathons with schools and our infamous end of year shows such as Aladdin, The Lion King and The Greatest Showman held in Buncrana and later performed in Clonmany with St Francis’ Primary School.

Martial Arts
I’m Danny from Dragon All Style Martial Arts Federation Ireland. Our style of martial arts focuses on teaching students of all ages simple and easy to apply techniques that work best for self defence. We incorporate joint locking, striking, kicking and throwing techniques that are designed to be used against stronger opponents. We also include the use of pressure points in our system which can be used to enhance any technique. This is taught to our advanced and adult students only.
