Singing Classes
“If I cannot fly, let me sing.” Stephen Sondheim
Danielle’s love of singing and music started at a very young age. She completed all her examination grades in singing, piano and recorder with The Royal Irish Academy of Music, and also received several Higher Achiever awards for them. She has competed in many feiseanna and concerts throughout the country, and enjoys singing in many languages, but her biggest musical joy will always be performing every year with CMS on stage in the Colgan Hall, Carndonagh, where she plays a lead role.
Danielle furthered her musical studies at Queen’s University Belfast, obtaining a Bachelor Degree in Music, in 2005. It was in her final year of studies that she began teaching singing and piano, and her school has grown dramatically since then. As well as teaching singing and choir in many schools throughout Inishowen, Danielle runs singing classes from her home in Carndonagh, in the Colgan Hall Carndonagh and also in the Clonmany Community Centre. These are available in a group or one to one basis. For more information please contact Danielle on 0863172576 or on FaceBook.
Zumba
Hi! I’m Kasia and I’m a Dance and Zumba instructor of eMotion Dance & Zumba Fitness. Dance was my passion since I was a child, and my dream was to become a professional dancer. I was in love with swing jive and rock & roll but also wanted to learn different dance styles especially Latino. In 2006 I came to Ireland and two years later I decided to learn Salsa then added in a few different styles such as Bachata, Cha Cha and Kizomba. In 2018 I discovered ZUMBA – as I have always been full of passion, energy and interested in fitness, Zumba was the ideal combination of everything I was looking for. Zumba Fitness is a high intensity cardio fitness program based on dance. It is easy to follow and includes styles such as Salsa, Merengue, Reggaeton, Cumbia, Bachata, Afro Beat Bhangra, Funk etc. The classes usually last one hour and the average calorie burn is between 600-1000. Classes are full of fun, energetic and sustainable for all fitness levels and ages over 16. Zumba comes in many varieties and I am fully qualified to teach Zumba Fitness, Zumba gold (a lower intensity workout for active older adults), Zumba Kids and Aqua Zumba.
