Clonmany Community Centre is seeking an energetic, enthusiastic individual for the role of Caretaker to join our team in August 2021.
Caretaker Position
This is a full time position of 39 hours per week.
This role is subject to Garda vetting
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Opening, closing and supervision of the centre
Maintenance of all outside equipment & buildings
Repairs to equipment & buildings
Callout responsibilities (out of hours)
Event preparations
Fire Safety
Cleaning duties in line with health & safety requirements
The ideal candidate for this role must:
Be practical with good DIY skills
Be a hands-on individual who can develop and implement new systems whilst maintaining current ones
Be sympathetic to environmental concerns regarding the Community Centre
Have excellent communication, interpersonal & time management skills
Be willing to work unsociable hours
Be committed to adhering to best practice in the workplace
Be motivated to work on your own initiative
